Crackle Glaze & Brush Stroke Series
From the rustic charm of crackled white glaze (Kohiki) to textured rim plates with brush stroke finishes, this series offers a wide variety of expressive and unique designs.

Ceramic artist Akira Okuda is an artisan working in the pottery-producing region of Shigaraki, creating tableware that blends traditional craftsmanship with modern living. His works, characterized by simple and modern designs based on white and black tones, are carefully crafted for everyday usability and are highly regarded as refined tableware that enhances the presentation of food.

How to Use Ceramic Artists`Tableware
Before first use, soak the ceramic in cold water for about 30 minutes, then let it dry completely.
After that, soak it briefly (about 30 seconds) in cold water before each use and dry it.
This helps prevent stains from oil and sauces and keeps the tableware clean.
