Shimizu Seizaburo Shoten is located in Suzuka, Mie Prefecture. Suzuka has a long history of sake brewing. The crystalline waters originating from the Suzuka Mountains and supply of good rice from the Ise plain make this place ideal for sake brewing. In classic literatures and poetries, Suzuka was praised with the epithet umasake (good sake yield). 2016 Gold Winner, Zaku Megumi No Tomo Junmai Ginjo has a lovely aromatic bouquet and taste profile that is very fruit forward with hints of pear. Well balanced with a smooth finish. Excellent paired with grilled fish, grilled vegetables, and salads. This sake will not disappoint.
