Finished with baked lacquer as a base and a traditional tetsusabaki solution made from aged vinegar, copper, and tea leaves, it offers the deep character of iron along with rust resistance. The interior is coated with smooth, baked colored lacquer, making it ideal not only for serving sake but also for dressings and various condiments. This 16th-generation studio is renowned as a master of Nanbu cast iron, with its exceptional craftsmanship recognized by numerous awards, including the title of “Living National Treasure.”
