Devil`s tongue, also known as konjac root, is a tuberous plant that is rich in fibre (100g contain 5-7 kcal).

Preparation:

Pour hot water over 25g of the tuber in a bowl and leave to infuse for 5-7 minutes. The water absorption increases the weight to 60 g. Then rinse with cold water to remove the starch and drain.
