This organic, JAS-certified matcha is produced by carefully grinding tencha (the raw material for matcha) with a stone mill. The matcha is specially sourced from members of the Wakokai and is produced by Uji farmers in Maruhisa Koyamaen.

The ‘Gold’ is characterised by an extremely smooth character and a delicate umami aroma, resulting in a taste with depth and richness. This tea represents the premium class of matcha tea.
