Somen - thin hard wheat noodles
Japanese white flour Hokkaido, Japanese salt
Nutritional value/100g: Energy 1386 KJ (331 kcal), fat 1.2g, carbohydrate 70.4g, protein 10.7g, salt 2.4g - after cooking 0.3g.
Preparation: Cook in 3 litres of boiling water without salt for 3 minutes, drain, rinse well under cold water, then serve cold, or add to hot soup and serve. Or cook directly in the soup for 3 minutes.
